Step 1 - Consultation

We start with a phone call. What are you serving, where are you operating, and what does your kitchen need to handle? We also discuss truck size and budget so every decision that follows is built around your operation.

Our team puts together schematic drawings of your truck layout based on your consultation. You review the full floor plan and equipment placement before a single piece of material is ordered.

We lock in your truck size and configuration, finalize the equipment list, and put together a purchase agreement. A 50% deposit secures your spot on the build schedule.

Your truck moves into full production. The vehicle is prepped, materials are ordered, and our sales, engineering, and fabrication teams work toward a single delivery date.

Pick up your completed food truck directly from our Houston shop. We walk you through a full kitchen orientation so you know every system before you drive off. Or we coordinate delivery to your location anywhere in the U.S.

Every size includes LED lighting, interior shelving, a 6-ft drop-down stainless steel shelf, a 100 lb propane tank, a 12,000-watt generator on a slide with exterior access door, a 4-gallon water heater, 30-gallon fresh water tank, 46-gallon grey water tank, and a 50 AMP shore power plug.

Frequently Asked Questions

JRS food truck builds are available in both pre-owned and brand new configurations. Pre-owned builds start at $62,500 and include the truck, labor, a complete brand-new kitchen, and a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty on all kitchen equipment. New truck builds start at $155,000 with the same full inclusions. Final pricing depends on truck size, equipment selections, and customization. Everything is confirmed before any deposit is placed.

Most food truck builds are completed and delivered in 8 to 10 weeks from deposit. Your timeline is confirmed at the proposal stage before your build goes on the schedule.

Every food truck is turn-key and includes a hood system with exhaust fan and fire suppression, full plumbing with fresh water and grey water tanks, water heater, 3-compartment sink, hand sink, 12,000-watt generator, 100 lb propane tank, and a 50 AMP shore power plug. All kitchen equipment is ETL and NSF approved commercial grade. These are the same standards required by health departments across the U.S.

We have built for operators across all 50 states and research the specific health and fire safety requirements for every city and state we build for. Your truck leaves our shop built to code for your operating area, ready to pass both inspections on day one.

Yes. Our design team can build around just about any cuisine or concept. If your menu requires equipment outside our standard configurations, we incorporate it into the floor plan during the design phase.

Yes. If you have equipment you want installed, we can mount and integrate it into your trailer build.

Yes. Our in-house designer works with you on your logo and graphics. We offer both partial and full exterior wrap options.

Yes. You can pick up your completed food truck directly from our Houston shop or we can arrange transportation to your location anywhere in the U.S. through a third-party carrier.

When your build is complete, we require an in-person orientation at our Houston facility. We walk you through the full operation of your kitchen, cover every system in the truck, complete final paperwork, and handle title transfer. You leave knowing exactly how to run your new kitchen.

JRS does not offer in-house financing. We will work with any lender that approves you for financing.

Every JRS food truck is custom built for a specific operator. We do not offer rental, lease, or rent-to-own programs.
